The Great Basin Fountain of Rimetea

The public fountain in the middle of the market square is used to water animals. Women also wash their carpets here. If a fire breaks out, the "Great Basin" also provides a reservoir for extinguishing water. There are many fountains - both public and private - throughout Rimetea. Unitarian Church of Colțești

Built between 1780 and 1804 on the foundations of a medieval church, the Unitarian Church in the middle of the village is well worth seeing. The oldest part is the church tower, which was rebuilt to its current size in 1670. Surrounded by high walls with loopholes (refortified in 1700), it is a small church fortress. If you visit on a Sunday, you have the chance to see the church garden with the wood-carved millennium stele.
