A gorge tour that doesn't have to hide behind Crete.
Of course it can't compete with the Samaria and Aradena Gorges, but it can with the Diktamos Gorge on Crete and the Petratis Gorge on Cyprus.

If you are experienced with gorges, you can also do the tour down. If you have no experience, it is better to go uphill.

From the parking lot at the small church, it first goes down about 1.5 km to the entrance to the gorge.

The ascent becomes increasingly difficult and some climbing is required to overcome the large boulders.
