Kincraig Village

Highlight • Viewpoint

Kincraig is a popular village in beautiful Strathspey, set to the dramatic backdrop of the Cairngorm Mountains. There's plenty for wildlife lovers here, with ospreys, golden eagles, red squirrels, curlews and pine martens amongst species you can hope to see in the region.
Munro baggers can use Kincraig as a base for nearby A' Chailleach and Carn Sgulain, though Newtonmore is closer. Accommodation is plentiful both in the village and in the surrounding countryside. Nearby Loch Insh is known for its watersports.
