A beautiful and educational hike around Duppach and Steffeln with a visit to the Roman villa. During archaeological excavations from 2002 onwards, the remains of a Roman villa and two large grave monuments were found in the Weiermühle district. The Duppach Archaeological Association continues the excavations at irregular intervals.

A stop at the nearby Sünnen Inn in Steffeln is recommended.

Today finally another relaxing round to switch off.
Recommended tour with beautiful forest and meadow paths and partly narrow rustic paths. Only the last 2km over asphalt spoil the overall impression a little. Undoubtedly the most beautiful of the volcanic garden and the circuit around the Eichholzmaar with nice seats and resting places.
