High above the steeply sloping Rote Wand there is an unmarked vantage point with a magnificent view down to the Lech, the Pfrontener mountains and over the Weißensee to the Hopfensee.
A beaten path leads north-west of the Pinswang-Ziegelwies hiking trail for about 20 meters to just before the edge, then another 30 meters to the right uphill to a small, almost level panoramic meadow with a lot of erica growth on the edge.
The path, which first goes further up to the north-east, leads to a hunter's stand and then goes nowhere.
