The foundation stone was laid on June 29, 1922 and a memorial stone has been placed on the site of this stone. The main altar was installed at the same time as the inauguration of the church on August 4, 1924. The church also contains the relics of one of the Martyrs of Gorcum and of Saint Boniface.
The small church organ from around 1960, made by the Alkmaar organ builders firm Jos. H. Vermeulen, has one manual, seven registers and an attached pedal.
