The DB Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ticket is valid for 24 hours, costs €27 for two people and can also be used for the journey to Stettin in Poland 👍
We took advantage of this and traveled from Neubrandenburg to the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in just over 1.5 hours 🚂🚃

After New Year's Eve, start the new year with a nice walk around Szczecin. With almost summer temperatures but a stronger breeze, we went from the moxy hotel (absolute recommendation) through the district and along the Oder, harbour, Hakenterasse, castle to the old town and back to the hotel. Tomorrow we continue towards the Baltic Sea... the weather is welcome …
