The Gasthof Talbauer in Dorf Tirol impresses with its beautiful panoramic location. Particularly favored by the climate, the Talbauerhof sits at 1200 m like an eagle's nest on the mountainside of Mut above the spa town of Meran. The Gamper family has been running a traditional mountain inn here with hearty cuisine since 1961.

The Talbauerhof is located on the southern slope of the Texelgruppe Nature Park with a view over the Meraner Adige Valley in the heart of South Tyrol and is an ideal rest stop and starting point for summit and hut hikes on the famous Meraner Höhenweg.

The inn and the associated agriculture and livestock farming are still run by the family today. On the wonderful sun terrace, deck chairs offer a popular opportunity to relax and sunbathe.
