June 13, 2025,Von Toblach zum Pragser Wildsee

Today, in brilliant sunshine, we drove from Toblach to Lake Braies. It started off gently downhill via Niederdorf before climbing about 9 km. Partly off the road, but the last few kilometers were on the road. The reward was a truly beautiful view. Unfortunately, as always at such tourist destinations, there were lots of cars... buses... and people.

A very strenuous but worthwhile bike tour.🚴‍♂️ The tour is only partially suitable for organic cyclists, as the last stretch to the Pragser Wildsee is very steep. The tour can be done with an e-bike. The way back is of course great!🏍

It's a few kilometers up the mountain. The e-bike is worth it. At the crossroads of the main road in the direction of Dobbiaco you should turn left onto the cycle path after about 150 mtr. Otherwise the dangerous main road has to be driven for a few kilometers.
