Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen are connected by a Bike & Hike Highway. On the last day of my stay I wanted a contrast to all the other tours in great nature. Even if the coast is heavily built up, there are beautiful sections.

Today the sun didn't show its face, but that doesn't mean it was cold. That made for a longer hike. We swapped our flip flops for sneakers and headed off towards Arrecife, the island's capital. What started as a quick 'stretch of the legs' ended up being a half marathon.
