Of course you cannot see the viaduct from the Ulm Valley Cycle Path because it leads over it. But you can drive up there on the bike path.

Started at a cozy 33 degrees in Allendorf on the Ulmtalradweg towards the sundial. As a surprise, a refreshment awaited us there. The single trail from the summit cross (nodes) to the Adolf Weiß monument is quite overgrown. The blackberries and nettles are quite annoying. Otherwise a beautiful track!

Today, for the "Allerlei" (All Kinds of Things) Action Day on the Umtal Cycle Path, many clubs set up booths and hosted all sorts of events right along the cycle path. A thoroughly successful event. Kudos to everyone who worked to make it a success. Especially the staff of the Hermann Hofmann Group at the wind turbine at the junction …

Today we went on a 🚴‍♂️🚴 tour along the Ulm Valley Cycle Path. We started at the junction near Oberrod, past the sundial🌞🕰 to Allendorf. A quick detour to the Ulm Dam 🏕🏞, circumnavigating the lake. Back on the main path. There was all sorts of things to see👀, from wood carvings 🪵🐿🦔 and a bicycle exhibition🚲🛴 to games♟️⚽️🪅 for …

My tip: Ulmtalradweg - Krombachtalsperre - Ulmtalsperre: We start in Biskirchen with almost 1600 inhabitants, the second largest district of Leun in the central Hessian Lahn-Dill district. Biskirchen is located in the Lahn valley between Wetzlar and Weilburg on the south-eastern edge of the Westerwald. The typical cluster village was first mentioned in documents in 1245 in the files of …

Today we went from Leun along the Lahntalradweg to Biskirchen and then via the Ulmtalradweg to the Krombachtalsperre 🙂🙃🙂. The Ulmtalradweg is a converted old railway line between Biskirchen and Greifenstein-Beistein. It was completed in several sections between 2010 and 2016 and runs for 11 kilometers, with a difference in altitude of 500 meters 😇 always going steadily uphill 🚵🚵‍♀️😉. …

Today's bike ride falls under the category of "enjoyable cycling." The start and finish were at the parking lot at the Arborn Cemetery.

The access to the Ulm Valley Cycle Path initially climbed steeply, past the charming holiday homes near Arborn. From kilometer 3, you could more or less let your bike roll until 15 km before the end.
