A "short" bike tour from Simmern to Rheinböllen and back, via the Hunsrück towns of Mutterschied, Argenthal and Ellern. Like most routes in the Hunsrück, this route profile constantly alternates between downhill and uphill. The climb between Eltern and Argenthal (return) is particularly challenging and should not be underestimated.
