After a delicious afternoon with the family and a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant in Braunschweig's eastern ring area, a proper digestive walk was needed... 😀

And the light trail offered a nice, varied opportunity.

Sometimes more, sometimes less, it went around the city center along the Oker. Some of the light installations were really beautiful and impressive.
