Beautiful stage of the Pieterpad. Very flat at the beginning, but at Beek it goes steeply up to the Duivelsberg. The part at Leuth is less fun, along a busy road and only paved road. We had beautiful weather. Booked an overnight stay in Fletcher hotel Holthurnsche Hof. Definitely recommended to make this stage a bit shorter if you start …

Great stage - but unfortunately it was pretty wet today. Some highlights such as the Duivelsberg are on the route. We had already decided on the more moderate direction.
Many hikers who came towards us were very out of breath on Duivelsberg.
