Mostnica Gorge

The Mostnica Gorge and the Voje Waterfall from Stara Fuzina are an eight-kilometer hiking trail - one of the most beautiful hikes in the Triglav National Park. There is a large car park for a small fee. You cross several bridges through the forest and sometimes the gorge becomes incredibly narrow. The water is crystal clear and emerald green. At the end of the trail you can go to the Mostnica waterfalls (Slap Voje). If so, stop by a restaurant serving Turkish coffee and strudel. Another restaurant comes just before the waterfall. The hike is very easy. It takes about 4-4.5 hours, with photos and coffee, otherwise you can be at the waterfall in 2 to 2.5 hours.

Beautiful, yet in places strenuous path. Spectacular views down the gorge and mountain panoramas.

Dog friendly, yet only suitable for active and at least medium sized dogs. Should be kept on a lead due to sheer drops. Water-loving dogs will be ecstatic as lots of little, shallow streams cross the path.
