Our last trip here took us along the dike, past the railway dam to the Sönke-Nissen-Koog lock. We cycled back behind the dike, past the Lüttmoorsee (there's a birdwatching hut and a viewpoint). A very beautiful and fascinating landscape along the entire route (as is generally the case here) with the North Sea, salt marshes, and many local birds.
