Today we head north along the Saône. After the attractive towns of Autun, Beaune and Tournus, Chalon sur Saone has a hard time keeping up. Many places are being built and renovated; some buildings are surrounded by construction fences...
I liked the cycle path along the wide river Saône, the cathedral and the beautiful half-timbered houses.
