Virginia St Terminus of Guadeloupe River Trail 🚴‍♂️

Highlight • Cycleway

The fantastic trail along the entire river from the mountains to the bay is unfortunately interrupted in the middle just where it's most dangerous to go on busy streets.

Lisa Killough Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Casual climb with beautiful view in the beginning followed by a super fun and flowy decent down towards the reservoir. Easy enough for beginners but has some nice (optional) features that could make it fun if you’re looking for something slightly more technical (don’t get me wrong though - this is not a very difficult/demanding trail - just to set the expectations correctly).

I personally really enjoyed the elevation pattern: Instead of a single steep decent, there are numerous nicely balanced waves of ups and downs combined with smooth curves along the slope - perfect flow!

Cottle Trail, Calero County Park

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Nice gravel trail that winds its way through the park. Some sections follow long the water giving you some great views.

Located right by the parking area you can find some additional info before heading out on your ride.

Excellent paved, dedicated bike trail safe from car traffic along Los Alamitos Creek and Calero Creek. The two creeks merge a mile further east.

Highway 87 Bikeway 🚲

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

Southern end of the paved bikeway, convenient but noisy next to the 10-lane freeway, with homeless encampment all along so perhaps sketchy at nighr
