Old Mori Road Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Old Mori Road Trail is a smooth gravel and wood plank trail leading from the trailhead off Hw1 to the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the beach below Mori Point. Keep an eye out for whales migrating along the coastline and listen for the mating call of the Pacific tree frog as you take in the beautiful scenery.

Beautiful rocky outcrop stubbornly protecting the beach from development. Great overlook a few yards past the end of the beach.

At this point you're almost halfway up a roughly 200-foot-high bluff. The views over the sea are every big as great as you'd expect!

Rockaway Beach

Protected sandy beach in a cove framed on both sides by Mori Point and Arami Point. The beachfront trail is worth a short loop off the main Pacific Bike Trail which follows the road. Note the sandy section between the parking area and the waterfront trail that can be tricky with skinny tires.
