St. Faustyna Kowalska Church in Stare Brynki

Highlight • Religious Site

The church was erected at the end of the 19th century in the neo-Romanesque style with Gothic elements, and granite blocks were used for the construction. During the war, the church was partially destroyed, it was not rebuilt, it was devastated, and then it remained in ruins for a long time. It was only through the efforts of the priest, village leader and some of the inhabitants that the reconstruction began; 70% of the buildings required reconstruction. The restoration of the former glory lasted from 1988 to 2007; the temple was consecrated on November 8, 2007 by the Archbishop of Szczecin and Kamień. Zygmunt Kamiński. She received the call of St. Sr. Faustyna Kowalska.

Resting place next to the boulder

Highlight • Natural Monument

The Heart Boulder, also known as the Millstone or Mill Wheel. All these names refer to the shape of this erratic boulder. It is a flat granite block that resembles both of these things. It was entered into the register of natural monuments by a Resolution of the Commune Council of Stare Czarnowo of 25.10.2004. Like many erratic boulders in the Bukowa Forest, this one also has impressive dimensions. Its circumference measures 14.5 m and it is 1.5 m high. Its width measured east-west is 4.5 m, and its length north-south is 4.2 m.

Three Brothers Pass

Highlight • Mountain Pass

The Three Brothers Pass (German: Drei Brüder) - a small pass (approx. 130 m above sea level), between three hills: Bukowiec (148.3 m above sea level) - the highest elevation of the Szczecin Lowlands, Klasztorny (133.7 m above sea level) and Kopytnik (132 0 m above sea level), in the main range of high moraine hills, known as the Bukowe Mountains (Hills).
There is a legend related to the pass about three bandit brothers. The brothers attacked the travelers, looting and killing them, until after one of the attacks they met the girl they fell in love with. Of course, after some time there was a fight in which the brothers killed each other. The unfortunate girl buried them under three stones (these are currently three surrounding hills), and not wanting to return to "civilization" after these traumatic experiences, she turned into a tree (the present Frater oak at the fork of the Kołowska and Klucka Roads).
