Noah's Sail is a 23 m high observation tower on the elbow (813 m). It was opened in August 2017 on the site of a Stasi listening system that was decommissioned in 1990.
The architecture is reminiscent of a forearm in reference to the name of the mountain.
95 steps lead up to a fantastic panoramic view....Wasserkuppe, Milseburg, Gr. Inselsberg …

What a great trail. Right at the Eisenacher Haus we went downhill to the Reichenhäuser Hütte in storm and fog and then finally in the sunshine on beautiful Rhön meadows in the direction of Noah's Segel. Below is a beautiful nature trail, which I will definitely discover next time.
Really nice, recommended hiking trail in the Thuringian Rhön.
