November 9, 2023,Kalōpā Nature Trail loop — Kalōpā Native Forest State Park and Recreation Area, Hawaiʻi Island

This short loop through the forest is beautiful, but we didn't find it particularly impressive, except for the one grove with giant trees. The little booklet that explains the numbers hasn't been revised for over 10 years. But we didn't find it very interesting or helpful. Basically we didn't think the detour was worth it.
