Hollymoor Water Tower

Highlight • Monument

Water Tower at Hollymoor Hospital - Situated just off the top of Tessall Lane. Find your way to it via the big green dome that’s visible from miles. Hollymoor Hospital was a psychiatric hospital and is famous primarily for the work on group psychotherapy that took place there in the years of the Second World War. It closed in 1994.

The buildings are now used for various purposes: doctors surgery and dental practice housed in the same building as the huge green domed water tower, this is a grade II listed building that you can still walk up on special event days. There is also Hollymoor Community Church hosting weekly services and community coffee mornings and you will also find here Longbridge Childcare Strategy Group - nursery, pre-school and playgroup.
