Footpath Across Open Fields

Highlight • Trail

This is actually a footpath despite what Komoot seems to suggest. Two wide-open fields, so plenty of time to see any dog-walkers. Once the fields have been harrowed or ploughed it’s easier to walk anyway! :)

Gravel track and field edge bridleway. The woods are home to lots of wildlife.

The Mixing Shed Cafe

Plenty of indoor and outdoor space with a large bike rail for parking. Good ☕️ and also passed the sausage roll test with flying colours.

I absolutely love this route, it's so well maintained and the Mixing Shed is a great spot, with good facilities for families.
This was a lovely route, all footpaths were very well maintained. This is not a buggy friendly route due to a stile. The Mixing Shed has a good baby change and high chairs. There is lots of parking and great countryside views.
