My favorite hike

By Birgit and Dieter Döbl

We live at the foot of the legendary Königsheide. We are active hikers, and occasionally go out on our bikes. Four years ago, we joined the Fichtelgebirgsverein, Bischofsgrün local chapter. We particularly enjoy the guided hikes and also the excellently organized hiking weeks.

Searched yesterday and found today! Many forest areas are damaged by the bark beetle and deforested areas can only bind rain to a limited extent. Good action to save the rainwater in the forest area. About 15 water basins were dredged. I've seen a lot of animal tracks. I'm curious what will happen here next year🧐
