Only a small path leads over the Nonnenstromberg. But he is then quite easy to find: the long-distance hiking trail Rheinsteig leads along it. We simply follow the Rhine entry sign.

The (not always reliably) marked "3" circular route in the Siebengebirge mountains seamlessly continued the high level of tours 1 and 2. It leads in the Siebengebirge to the Stenzelberg, the Nonnenstromberg and the Petersberg, uphill and downhill again and again, through beautiful, shady forest, some meadow orchards and vineyards. Overall a …

A highly recommended route. The Heisterbach monastery ruins are very popular but well worth seeing.

Today we went with my son-in-law to the neighboring Siebengebirge in Spe to catch up on a hike from last year. The weather there was a bit suboptimal, but dry.
After a few kilometers you reach the Heisterbach monastery ruins (with a monastery cafe), which are worth taking a short walk around the area.
The path continues to the Stenzelberg, …
