Today we went relaxed first to the Riesenkopf and then to the Rehleitenkopf.
The climb went over a pasture with cows and horses.
The giant head has great emotional meaning for me. I had the summit to myself and enjoyed the beautiful weather and peace there for a long time.

A beautiful hike through our local mountain in perfect weather! As always, we started via Wagnerberg – currently the only possible access from Flintsbach anyway.

The first detour led towards Maiwand. I aborted the climb just below the summit: a very steep path with loose, slippery forest floor – too risky for me today.
