N-II Coastal Road Through Maresme

Highlight • Cycleway

The N-II highway runs through the towns on the Maresme coast and, since its traffic is that of a street, it is ideal for cycling with hardly any unevenness.

La Musclera Beach

Highlight • Beach

Access to La Musclera Beach is very good and there is parking for cars about two minutes from the beach. If you arrive by train to the beach, you just have to leave the station on the beach side and follow the train track towards Arenys de Mar (north) and you will find it because there is a moment when there is no path anymore. It's about ten or fifteen minutes.

If you want to get there quickly and without getting lost, either by RENFE or by car, the best thing to do is get off, or get off the highway, at Caldes d'Estrac. The train station is just down the road.

La Musclera Beach is above all a place for families and since it is mixed it works very well because if you want to be accompanied by people who, at most, stay in slips or topless, they don't feel out of place seeing people naked. It has areas more secluded by the rocks where the gay atmosphere is usually found while the rest is more familiar.

It is common for the police to patrol this beach.
