Ajdovska Deklica (Heathen Maiden) Rock Face

The face of the Ajdovščina girl in the northern side of Prisojnik was formed by broken rocks. The most beautiful view of it is from Poštarski dom in Vršič. The story goes that it was a petrified buckwheat girl. When she lived, she was of a good and merciful heart; it led mountaineers and trucks through snowdrifts into the Trenta Valley. She was also a soybean who prophesied to newborns. It was a nice hike with beautiful views. We can recomend it if you don't have enough time or if you want something easier than trail to Slemenova Spica but still be in the mountains. We had a great time.
