View of Port de Sóller from the Mirador de ses Barques

Highlight • Viewpoint

Up here you can refresh yourself in the (admittedly touristy) restaurant. The breathtaking view is in any case great and also completely free.

The hiking trail leads through the grounds of a finca. You walk through the terraced olive groves and can admire the old, gnarled trees.

Coll de na Polla Pass

Through a small forest of pines and olive trees, it goes up to the pass Coll de Polla. You step through an old field stone wall and before you spreads the unique coastal panorama of Sa Costera.

From the tree-lined terrace of the restaurant Es Vegeret you have a wonderful view of the secluded beach Cala Tuent. The restaurant is open from spring to autumn, in winter you are unfortunately in front of closed doors.

The coastal section is spectacular. Clear trail markings are evident, but surefootedness is required. There are often stairs on the steep sections, and only very short, rocky patches where hiking poles are helpful. The tour can be done in either direction (check the bus and boat schedules).

In Port Soller, we started on a beautiful path that led us to the Mirador de ses Barques. Then it was a leisurely walk through olive groves. A pleasant descent through a small forest followed before the day's climb. Mountain goat mode on, and almost at the top. Then we descended through a forest. The lonely north coast greeted us. …

It is a challenging hike, take enough to drink with you.
The return trip is by boat - check in the morning whether it is running that day and get a ticket.

We had a travel guide who advertised this path with a visit to a cave and the ascent to a Puig .. We therefore took the bus to Mirador de ses Barques where you have a great view over the valley to Port de Sóller ☀️ .. From there it went through olive groves and stony paths in the direction …

Taxi to the start and walk back in the cool of the morning and no rush to geta boar back. Well marked mostly moderate walk with one uncomfortable assent and one decent thats tricky underfoot
From Cala Tuento you can return to Soller by boat. But check beforehand, because if there is too much wind the bay will not be visited

From there the Es Vergeret sa Costera and then over two passes through olive plantations.
The detour to Fabrica de Font des Verger is worth it. Electricity was generated there for the municipality of Sóller from 1907 to 1962.
The source seems to have dried up today, the opposite is the case...

Really spectacular hike, photos dont really convey. Incredible arid landscape beyond Mirador de ses Barques and a steep climb out of the valley towards Sa Moleta before the first glimpses of the sea. Fantastic path along the cliffs to finish at Cala Tuent (and boat back to Port Soller).
Some guide books mention an agroturismo with refreshments in the valley …
