Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

Long Straight Roads Near Petra

Highlight • Cycleway

Moderate traffic but great views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely plan the Orange Valley as a driveway, then the corrugated iron is doubly worthwhile.

Sanctuary of Sant Salvador de Artà

Highlight • Religious Site

Arta inspires with its naturalness. There are many small alleys through the town and most of them lead upwards to Calvary with the fortified church of San Salvador.

dream tour despite strong wind. bethlem monastery can only be recommended: 2 x 9 km - three cars and three racing bikes, but lots of sheep, goats, views, nature and sun.
and the corrugated iron and petra are mandatory anyway ;-)

Today a little love 🌞 wanted to get out again and we are gradually increasing our workload 😀
Petra with its romantic marketplace is a must for all cyclists. Cyclists from all directions meet here and treat themselves to a break in one of the many small restaurants...there is an incredibly cool atmosphere.

Today I took a look at the cycling Mecca 'Petra', as measured by the komoot highlights. Conclusion: a beautiful church and a village square full of people drinking coffee in lycra, otherwise the route there and from there is much more worth seeing.
