Natura 2000 – Nieszawa Valley of the Vistula

This area is a nesting place for many rare and endangered species of birds in Poland and Central Europe, associated with the valleys of large unregulated rivers. The presence of many sandy islands and shallows in the channel makes this area an important feeding and resting place for migrating birds.
