Highly recommended is the way for the afternoon. The tour leads on old paved paths from villages down to the river over the first small bridge, then up over a hilltop and down to the second bridge. There you can wonderfully refresh yourself in small bath pumps before the way back. Overall, this is a wonderful way. Even uphill, the slope is only moderate tempered by the serpentine.

The water was taken from the stream further up, led through a canal bed carved into the rock or built into the wall to behind the mill and from there it shot under the mill, where it drove a water wheel sitting horizontally on a vertical axis.
