The small road connects the municipality of Sigriswil with Beatenberg at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. The paved route winds through the forest and along rugged cliffs, offering frequent beautiful views of Lake Thun. About halfway along the route, it continues straight ahead in a 180-degree turn into the scenic Justis Valley.

In the section near Beatenberg, the road passes through two tunnels, each approximately 200 meters long, which feature a spectacular stone window offering a good view of Lake Thun. Lighting is highly recommended here.

Please note that the Justis Valley - Beatenberg section of the road is closed for the winter between November and April. The exact opening times can be found on the Sigriswil municipal website.
