The city of Winterthur has really invested a lot in its infrastructure and one can see this immediately. Well marked cycleways which completely traverse the city from North to South and East to West. Cycleways are well marked. Even though there is some heavy traffic on some routes, the numerous radar robots keep traffic to a slow pace.

This cycling route between Seuzach and Neftenbach is about 90% on a separate asphalted cycleway with very good smooth asphalt. Use this route to avoid the Winterthur inner city. One is quickly in the countryside and during the Summer time there are several small but great breweries in the area, namely Euelbräu and Hopfenfisch which have some rather smooth and unique beers to sample.
