It is a hall church, single-nave, built on a rectangular plan, with clearly visible decorative elements made of profiled brick. After World War II, the building was destroyed, and its reconstruction and renovation were carried out to restore its former splendor.

The facility is located in the central part of the village of Skalin (rural municipality of Stargard, West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The church is a late Gothic building, erected on a rectangular plan as a hall church in the second half of the 15th century or at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. A wooden tower dominates the church, erected at the beginning of the 20th century (during renovations in 1909, led by architect Heinrich Deneke). Inside the tower hangs a valuable, 15th-century bell with a diameter of 57 cm. The facility is listed in the register of monuments under number A-1445 (entry dated December 21, 1963). A historic burial cemetery has been preserved next to the church.
