The little Wipper has dug deep into the limestone slabs of the Hainleite. Orchids have settled on the resulting limestone slopes and are currently blooming quite profusely.

Plus beautiful views down into the valley - a delight!

Today, we walked part of the orchid trail between Günserode and Seega. Many had already bloomed, but some were late and offered a beautiful sight.

Afterwards, we continued through the Wipper Gorge to the other side of the mountain and over Arnsburg Castle, enjoying a magnificent view, back to Seega.
