Carbis Bay Beach

Highlight • Beach

The white sand and clear waters of Carbis Bay Beach are sheltered from the big Atlantic seas so it makes for a tranquil beach, popular with swimmers. It is often less busy than other beaches in Cornwall. It also hosted the G7 summit back in 2021.

Just over the sea with beautiful views of the entire coast before Hayle. Small, covered, descent necessary, but the path is easy to find.

Highlight • Viewpoint

This is a wonderful view over an unspoilt part of Cornwall. Porth Kidney Sands is usually significantly quieter than nearby St Ives and Carbis Bay making it a special place to run to. The beach is huge at low tide and is dog friendly too.

Rest Spot on the Beach

Highlight • Beach

This beach doesn't have easy access unless like us you like to walk. So it one of the largest and most beautiful and pretty much always deserted beaches.

Porth Kidney Sands

Highlight • Viewpoint

A beautiful stretch of beach close to Lelant village. At low tide, the sand stretches for miles towards the sea. This unspoiled corner of the Cornish coast is a peaceful getaway and usually escapes any crowds. Bear in mind that there are strong currents here, and warning signs against swimming near the river.
