Svetilnik Beach

The beach chosen by locals, as well as one of the most iconic in Slovenian Istria. Plaza Svetilnik offers a beautiful view of Punta Grossa, Capodistria, Trieste, and the Moon Bay of Strugnano. Part of the area is covered by large grassy spaces, while access to the water is facilitated by small pebbles. Families with children mainly prefer this beach, as they can have fun in the playground, take shelter in the shade of the pine trees, or make use of the nearby Svetilnik restaurant or the Vitaminček bar.

During the warm months of July and August, an open-air library is also available on the beach.
You can reach Plaza Svetilnik by taking the promenade from the center of Isola or from the former shipyard.
