North of Aalborg lies the Hammer Bakker ridge. The almost uninhabited area consists of wooded slopes and narrow valleys.

It is said to be the most beautiful inland heathland north of the Limfjord. The Ice Age shaped this area and - quite frankly - they did a great job here!
