In Stühe there are still many old trees that provide habitat for animals, especially birds. In the old beeches, the woodpecker finds opportunities for building caves.
In particular, great spotted, green and black woodpeckers live here.

We are hiking in the Stüher Forest. During the hike, we immerse ourselves in the history of the people who lived here. It's as if we were embarking on a journey through time.

The starting point of our hike is the hiking car park on Stüher Straße, southwest of Ganderkesee. We are located in the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park.
