A pleasant, beautiful loop to get in enough steps, for example.

The route is straight, with no mountains or hills. Yet it still offers beautiful views here and there, swimming spots, short forest stretches, and even moments in the village. There's an organic farm shop and the Barnim Panorama.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafés in the Wandlitz area.

From Stolzenhagener See we then went to Wandlitzsee for the purpose of circumnavigation. Unfortunately, there was very little access to the water 💦 Private estates lined this trail. I wouldn't recommend it for hiking, but it would be great for bike tours.

No, I really can't recommend this hike. The Wandlitzsee is built up all around and only accessible in a few places.

Only the great weather and the spring greenery can reconcile me with this route. And of course the pretty center of Wandlitz with the church, the old houses and the nature park center.
