You can usually rely on treecreepers and nuthatches to turn up somewhere and pose for a photo – even when there's not much else going on. The goldcrest, on the other hand, fluttered in front of my lens for the first time.

The abundance of images is simply overwhelming. A hodgepodge of various blue butterflies and two or three interesting dragonflies, as well as small and large birds and much, much more – all of them begged to be photographed.
Apart from the people directly in Blütenberg, I only saw two people – AWESOME!

Nice little gathering after work with cranes, cows and Horsties.
Bobr is of course everywhere too - at least his tracks are on the trees.
I didn't see Isegrim.

Wonderful after-work walk with a pony farm, cow pasture, view as far as the TV tower, watching ospreys hunting and dining, eating blackberries, looking at flowers and picking mushrooms.

The hiking boots weren't even fully on when a peacock crossed our path. Oh man.. how the feathers glitter in the sun..
The last peacock I had seen before.. might have been back in the D-Mark era.. but anyway. Great start to the little tour today.

The discovery and the photo of the day was certainly the European Pied Flycatcher. A bit strange was the bird sitting right next to it, which (or rather she) didn't seem to be the right matching female. More like another flycatcher lady or a nightingale - but I don't care, the main thing is that the two will be happy.

a peacock, a large blue, a swallowtail, a red kite, a whinchat, a young goldfinch, a brownish high brown fritillary (summer plumage) were also available as photo models.
Just like the very, very distant TV tower - aaaah; now it dawns on me: TV tower because you can see it from afar. Forehead slap. That I'm only just getting this …

Another fantastic list of sightings...
It started with willow mining bees, a field cricket that had just crawled out of a hole, and a sand wasp. Then a mistle thrush, a coal tit, yellowhammer, chaffinch, siskins, and crested tits at a puddle, whinchats, corn buntings (which are really huge compared to yellowhammers), a raven, cranes, marsh tits, siskins, some kind …
