It wasn't long before the path turned right and went uphill again. We went up over rocks and stony paths, not always sure whether we were on the route.

We park at the beautiful Cúber reservoir and walk along it for a while. The steep ascent takes place in the middle of the lake, along an old snow collector path. The path is not always easy to find and is only marked with blue dots and cairns.
