Salts Mill and Saltaire United Reformed Church

Highlight • Monument

The Church was built by Sir Titus Salt in 1859 to serve his staff who worked at the Mill within the village of Saltaire, now a world heritage site. The building is a unique example of Italianate religious architecture.

Pentley Hill Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

High up here at Pentley Hill, there are fantastic views to the west and north west across Silsden Moor and Skipton Moor, plus north to Langbar Moor. It's an ideal place to get great views without having to climb too high (by Yorkshire standards anyway).

It is particularly special at sunset when the moors become silhouetted against the lowering sun.

Highlight • Natural Monument

From Ilkley the climb is steady with one steep section towards to the top. Keep something back for that otherwise it’s tough.

Cow and Calf Rocks Summit

Highlight • Climb

There is a pub and a cafe, it's a great climb (or descent) but also has fantastic walking routes at the top!
