Serves Glen Lyon coffee, fresh sandwiches and soup. There is also a shop, so lots of snacks to stock up on. Take cash with you on your ride or alternatively you can withdraw cash from the post office here.

Loch an Dàimh and Giorra Dam

Highlight • Structure

Loch an Dàimh was created by the construction of the Giorra Dam in the 1950s. The rise in water levels caused the two small lochs – Loch Dàimh and Loch Giorra – to become one larger body of water. The parking here is a good place to start walks to the Munros south and north of here.

Glen Lyon Tearoom

Highlight • Cafe

The Glen Lyon tearoom is an institution. It's a friendly place, with brilliant homemade cakes, scones and other food. It's miles up the dead end valley if you're driving, but often visited by hikers crossing the valley. Being the post office and shop, it's an important local hub as well, so do stop by if you're in the area.
