The Green, Budleigh Salterton

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The Green, Budleigh Salterton is one of the sites included in the Parks Heritage Trail, a project that celebrates the history of eight parks and gardens in East Devon. The trail was created in 2016 by East Devon District Council and The Heritage Lottery Fund, with the help of local community and schools. The trail features interpretation boards and a leaflet that provide interesting information about each site and its heritage. The Green, Budleigh Salterton is a small park near the town centre, where you can find the Fairlynch Museum and Arts Centre, a thatched museum that showcases the history and culture of Budleigh Salterton and the surrounding area. The park also has a children’s play area, a bowling green and a war memorial. The park is open to the public all year round, and is a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the views of the town and the sea.
