Bus to start of walk, nice riverside to Saltram then around the house and gardens. Home via Plympton path and bus back to town. Good paths all the way, no big hills and easy walking. Great area to explore further later.

Plymbridge Valley Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

First mile North has many dog walkers and children. Caution is needed as many forget it is a shared use path.
During summer months within first viaduct there is a Peregrine Falcon viewing platform manned by conservationist's that are keen to protect this beautiful bird of prey. Telescopes and binoculars enable one to see them nesting in adjacent cliff.

Highlight (Segment) • Structure

Excellent route to walk, cycle, run with great history and fantastic views a plenty.

From coypool to Tavistock the route through the Plymbridge woods is known as the Drake trail, named of course after Sir Francis Drake.

Cann Woods (Plymbridge Woods)

Highlight • MTB Park

Better known as Cann woods, so many trails, some steep, techy and flowy riding. It is a bit of a maze, you may get list but it is well worth it 👌

The amphitheater in Saltram Park offers a beautiful panorama of the surrounding nature, such as the River Plym, the estuary and the forests. You can enjoy this view from the seats of the amphitheater or from a higher point in the park
