You could almost miss this one if you are not paying attention as it is a bit tugged away from the trail. The distillery hut tells the story of the illegal activities in the area. It comes with beautiful artwork on the door and is quite spacious on the inside.

Excellent views into the Great Glen Fault, down to Loch Ness and north-east towards Inverness. There are also several interesting sculptures on the ascent and summit.

From here on the slopes of Carn na Leitire you are afforded beautiful views north toward Loch Laide and the surrounding hills of Loch Ness. There's a bench here where you can catch your breath before continuing your climb.

This is such a lovely spot and the walk up through Abriachan woods makes it a perfect day out. There are nice little signboards to tell the history of the peat industry in the area and if you got an eye for plants, you'll relish the diversity up there.
