Grey day of intermittent gentle drizzle. Gentle stroll round Broomhills on their newly done section of road, very large open gravel which will not be cycle friendly, and past the very neat new culvert which has been completed.
Then over by Mounthooly and back past Mortonhall campsite to explore using it for an Alphard meet later in the year and …
Recovery must be ongoing - painfully slowly but ongoing - no longer getting so out of breath on climbs.
I didn't realise that was 4 miles and at a fairly fast pace given the wind speeds - we just got the edges of a couple of downpours whilst in the lea of the walled garden and woods.
